Suzie works as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect helping companies with their journey into Cloud adoption. This is a technical role which draws from her 20+ year career working in Tech.
She is an accessibility and disability advocate. Passionate about universal and inclusive design in technology, and how this leads to more accessible products and experiences. She is always looking at ways tech can be combined to create better experiences for people with disabilities, and in turn the greater population.
Suzie speaks publicly about accessibility and inclusion, including her own lived experience, which include being neurodiverse, as well as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and PoTS which impacts her mobility.
Suzie is also a committee member of the Business Disability Forum Techincal Taskforce.
Prior to working at Microsoft she founded and Chaired Amazon UK’s disability employee resource group chapter AmazonPwD. As well as creating a global Accessibility Champion program for all staff to raise the level of accessibility knowledge across all areas of the Amazon.
For her work in accessibility, DEI and mentoring people in the early stages of their careers, she won a Tech Women 100 award in 2019, as well as being part of the Computer Weekly Most Influential Women in Tech 2020 longlist.

By everyone learning more about accessibility and assistive technologies, normalising their day to day use for everyone. This will drive better inclusion for people who are reliant on them.”
