Mary Doyle

Executive coach, accessible aviation consultant and owner Rocket Girl Coaching

Mary Doyle has more than 25 years’ leadership experience working for global technology companies and now provides executive coaching to disabled and non-disabled people. Since 2017 she’s run her own professional coaching business, helping people tackle life and work challenges. Mary also works as an accessible aviation consultant, equality trainer and writer.

“Being a wheelchair user and global manager has given me the drive for disability to be embraced by business and the world. To quote Bruce Springsteen ‘nobody wins unless everybody wins’ is my approach.”

Trust, curiosity and fun are all priorities and she brings her own lived experience of disability to her work. Bringing humour and irreverence to difficult topics, she enjoys helping people see new perspectives around disability.

Mary consults on accessible aviation to ensure disabled passengers can travel with safety and dignity. She worked on the world’s first expanding accessible aircraft lavatory and modernised disability equality and customer service training in aviation (launching autumn 2020). Mary authors articles on inclusion, self development, technology and has been published by Runway Girl Network, The Law Society and appeared on BBC TV and radio.

Mary campaigns for women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) and has volunteered for many years supporting disabled people.

Her company, Rocket Girl Coaching, takes its name from Mary’s love of flying and space travel. She learnt to fly solo at 42 and is passionate about disabled people reaching their full potential in all areas of life.
