I started acting at age 7 after doing a documentary about families that are different (in my case I have a younger brother but he is much taller than me) I wanted to show people that we still do things that every other family might do but with a slight difference.
I then decided I loved being in front of the camera and started getting work after getting an agent.
I have been an access ambassador for London’s Old Vic Theatre after appearing as Tim Cratchit in their version of a Christmas Carol. I then was also cast in a version for the BBC.
I’m also a ambassador for the multi schools trust which champions inclusion within schools in Essex. I have been cast in various productions and won various awards including a national comedy award and a BAFTA for my role in Am I Being Unreasonable written by Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli. When I auditioned for the role casting were not looking for a child with a disability but my agent put me forward anyway and I really feel that this is making casting agencies think about representation on TV and this makes me so proud. I honestly believe that anything is possible. Those of us with disabilities might have to work a bit harder or do things a different way but we can still achieve most things with the right support.
“It’s an absolute honour to be included in the Disability Power list 2023.
Change is coming and I’m here for it!!!!”
