Niall is the founder of fuelService, an app for disabled drivers to find and ask petrol stations if they can assist. It lets them ask before they go, giving them confidence that someone will be there to help when they arrive. Then removes the embarrassment of having to beep their horn when they arrive by letting the station know.

fuelService is used by 30% of the petrol stations in the UK and is growing all the time. It is now in 11 other countries in Europe and North America.

fuelService donates 100% of its profits to finding a cure for paralysis from spinal cord injuries via Nialls Foundation.

More than funding research, Niall works on a practical level to help find a cure for paralysis. SCItrials.org was created by Niall to provide the community a way of finding and applying for clinical trials to advance treatments.

SCItrials.org is now used by the spinal cord injury community around the world. Supported by 30 spinal cord injury organisations, it removes the challenge of trials failing because they don’t have enough candidates.

“The divide between disabled and non-disabled is clear for all to see. It’s encouraging to see the companies we work with understanding this and trying to close the access gap. Unfortunately for others we are seen as a problem that they don’t care about fixing. The only way I see this being fixed is if the Government actively enforces the Equalities Act.”
